Hmm....so a few things have been going on lately!

Ive been working on a new website, its taking a while...trying to do it in my spare time...but I am getting a lot of new pics in it, Im also revisiting some old pics and adding a new twist to some of them, I think you will like the new site...its kinda cool!

The past couple days have been hell on me, Im suffering from a kidney stone that is being stubborn, it doesnt want to pass yet. This stone makes number 15...yah thats right, FIFTEEN! Ive been blessed with horrible kidneys.

This Saturday I will be in the World Class Taekwondo Championships...going for the gold with my daughter Victoria. We are both competing in board breaking and our belt forms. Hopefully this stone will be out before then!

Here are a couple pics, that will be on the new site...

If you follow me on Facebook...You know ive been a tad busy!

So yah the past couple of months have been crazy for me!
Summer flew by so fast...too fast :(
My son started his Jr year at a new high school and so far has been thriving...thats a good thing! My daughter Vickie and I have tested for new Taekwondo belts very recently, she is now a red stripe and I have my first of 2 black stripes towards my black belt! VERY exciting!
Been doing a LOT of photo shoots lately too. I did several River shoots and a martial arts shoot on 2 of the Jr. instructors at my TKD school...I will put up a couple of those shots right now to show you.

I will be updating my website shortly too...its not ready yet to go live as I am putting almost all new content into it! I hope you love it as much as I do!

Im thinking of changing my logo too...anybody out there that knows how to draw a really cool dragonfly...or take a pic of the dragonfly on my back and make a fantastic logo from it? Get back to me if you know anybody!

More pics from the past few weeks will come up on this blog too...not a lot though, I want to show them on the new updated website...

Ok 'nuff for now, here are a couple shots from Dominica and Biancas photo shoot!

Just had to put this out there....

I got some gorgeous flowers delivered to me today for my 16th wedding anniversary from my husband! Isnt that just so sweet!? Then he called me just a little bit ago and told me to hang on for a moment....next thing I know his entire classroom full of middle schoolers was screaming happy anniversary into the phone to me! LOL
So when Bill gets home...I get to reveal his combination Anniversary/Birthday/Father's Day gift.....cant tell you what it is yet though, he might be peeking in on here...I will update later today! Intrigued? Well come back and read later...its an awesome gift....really!!! I dont know how I can trump this one next year!!!

OOPS!!!

Good grief...I was checking over my post and I posted that the textures will be $11! Heck no!!!! I mean to say they are starting at $1!! LOL Sorry for the confusion!!

Been a busy few months!

I know, I know, I havent updated in forever....I really am not very good at blogging as you can surely tell by now! ANyway the past few months have seen me healing from foot surgery and preparing for my Taekwondo Red belt test which is on THURSDAY May 27th! Yah Im just a little bit excited! My 8 yr old daughter is testing for her blue belt on the same day...can ya believe it!

So anyway...Ive had just a little bit of idle time to play with so I decided to have some fun in photoshop and create stuff like textured backgrounds and patterns. Im going to offer them up for sale to those interested in buying them for use in their scrapbooking adventures or if you want to use them in your wedding albums or portraiture albums...feel free to do that as well! Eventually I will be creating full sets to use for any interested scrappers out there so spread the word!
I will have samples up on here and I will have them in my gallery for purchase...how does $11 to purchase a textured background sound as starters? You like that idea? Good because thats what some of them will be starting at! The more complex ones will be a little more but not too much!
And they will be in PSD files so you can resize them. Some of these textures I have made into Photoshop patterns as well....For a small fee those will be up for sale too, just ask :)

So anyway....here is a sample of what I will be putting up on my site today for your purchasing pleasure!....The tan one is called Sands of Time, the dark one is Chocolate Dream and the green one is called Summers End.

Working at UB for student affairs...

Ive had the privilege this year to shoot with a good friend and fellow photographer Steve Morse at The University of Buffalo for Student affairs, getting shots of the students and activities..Its been fun and I am hoping to keep shooting with Steve in the future! Here are some of the photos I have taken at UB

This set is from the Battle of the bands which included some area high schools such as Mt St Mary's Academy, W. Seneca West, Lancaster High school and more.
